Had a lovely stay here, the cottage is well equipped and in a prime position to explore Northumberland. So much to see and do. Impressed with The Sill, fantastic view from the roof. Ely Cambridgeshire
We had a lovely relaxing stay at this wonderful cottage. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Full of character, so comfortable. Tyne valley is beautiful. Would love to come back with our cocker spaniel who has also enjoyed his holiday. From Whitley Bay
We have had a wonderful time andvthe cottage and surrounds are beautiful. We have explored the Northeast and havd traced our ancestors.
Unfortunately Luton lost (footie) but we enjoyed going to a premier club and seeing a magnificent football stadium (Newcastle). Lovely cosy cottage really enjoyed our stay.
Weve had a really enjoyable stay andwill return as its super for exploring Northumberland. The location is ideal in a quiet lane with a path direct to the rail station. There are really nice walks in the area for those with dogs.
We've had the most enjoyable stayin this lovely cottage and will likely returnas it is super exploring Northumberland. Thanks for the welcome pack. Highly recommend taking the train one way to Corbridge then walking in the other direction.
Our first time at Yew Tree. Everything is great - better than expected. Welcome pack and well thought out equipment make the whole experience feel like home from home. Excellent location for visiting all the local sights like Vindolanda and Corbridge and Hexham.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in this charming cottage. A first time staying self-catering in a cottage for us and we're truly converted. Leaving (reluctantly) but will be back (Sheffield)
We've had such a wonderful stay. The cottage is so thoughtfully equipped and homely. Such comfortable beds for a well-needed rest! Its our first visit to the area and we will be back. Enjoyed visits to Corbridge and Kielder Forest. Thank you so much for the welcome gifts and for creating such a restful place for a holiday. (Includes Brody the dog!)
We have really enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage! We have visited lots of lovely places, including Alnwick and Bamburgh castle, Beamish, Hadrian's Wall and a meal out in Newcastle. It was our first time taking our 18 month old beagle who had the time. of her life. Thank you for the lovely treats. Everything was perfect and well provided. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Dalton in Furness Cumbria
Thanks for a great place to stay. Excellent for local tourist attractions and superb lunch at the Wellington. Will definitely book again for next visit instead of using a hotel. Lovely touches including treats on arrival.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yew Tree Cottage and thank you for our welcome pack of choccies and biscuits these are much appreciated. We have to congratulate you on your shower - some places we have visited the shower was barely a trickle. We managed just one visit to the local hostelry and again can recommend this, the food was very tasty and the staff welcoming. Party from Northampton
We have enjoyed a very comfortable visit to Yew Tree Cottage and we thank you for having us. We have been very warm and cosy and enjoyed the area greatly. Thank-you for the groceries left for us. They are greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again in the future. Preston Lancashire.
Another lovely week at the cottage. Weather has been gorgeous - perfect weather for the dogs to swim in the Tyne. After 3 years we are still finding new places to visit so hopefully we will see you again next year.
A lovely cottage in a pleasant location. You have made us feel very welcome and we have enjoyed exploring the area.
We've had a lovely few days stay in cosy Yew Tree Cottage. The cottage has been an ideal base for all the places we wanted to visit and it is equipped with everything we needed. Thank-you! Burrell party Sandhurst
Home from home! Thank-you lovely cosy and very comfortable cottage. Great nights sleep and great days out sight seeing. A very nice relaxing break away for the family and our border terrier. PS the welcome pack and milk was a lovely touch thanks.
We have spent 3 lovely days in Yew Tree Cottage. It is very comfy - home from home. Thank you - including Harvey the puppy.
We have had a glorious week. The cottage is very comfortable and so well-equipped. The weather has been very kind and we have been out and about every day. Sadly this hasn't allowed us to do justice to the wonderful collection of books in the cottage. We will have to come back!
We have had a very good week in Yew Tree Cottage. It is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The local bus service 10 is very convenient and reliable. Topping everything though was photography of an otter eating a fish just down the road on the river Tyne.
There have been so many lovely memories of our stay here in Yew Tree Cottage. The area is lovely and the cottage positioned so well for many places to visit nearby. But the cottage is just lovely, cosy and has everything you might need. Thanks for having us. ( includes Miya the dog)
We have had a fabulous time in this lovely, comfortable cottage! Very quiet place, and great for relaxing. Good coffee shops and places to eat in Hexham, Durham good to visit too. The Wellington pub round the corner - fab food! Thank-you Sheila, we will certainly recommend Yew Tree Cottage to family and friends.
Combined a super week visiting our daughter who is at Newcastle University and lots of stunning walks (amazing scenery) including pub lunches. At the end of the day what a special place to come home to! Inc. Sybil the Pug.
Thanks so much Sheila for our fab mini-break. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and just how comfy the cottage is. We will be leaving a 5 star review on Facebook for you! The bedroom is absolutely lovely and the bed is really comfortable.. Can totally recommend Il Piccolo restaurant in Corbridge.
